SOLIA - Disability sports equipment services

SOLIA which started 2001 is nowadays governed by the Finnish Association of Sports for the Disabled (FASD) and financed by the Finland`s Slot Machine Association and Ministry of Education. SOLIA`s multifaceted working group represents various disability organisations: SoveLi ry, Special Olympics Finland, Finnish Federation of the Visually Impaired, Travelling, moving, into the middle of life - activity of the Finnish Association of Societies for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities. SOLIA aims to provide, rent, and develop equipment for disability sports and adapted physical activity. SOLIA has four units in Rovaniemi, Masku, Kuopio and Helsinki which are open to all.
